A collaboration between Mary Posatko of the San Diego State University Television, Film and New Media Department and Dr. Doug Tallamy and Emma Jonas of the University of Delaware’s Entomology Department.

It is a 30-minute documentary about our biodiversity crisis told through the eyes of a caterpillar.

We all know caterpillars are very hungry, but did you know many must wander after they are full, looking for a place to burrow for the winter - and that our coveted suburban turf lawns are putting them in serious danger? THE WANDERING LEPIDOPTERA will make you root for these hungry little invertebrates on the journey of their lives, while encouraging the small but enormously consequential changes we can all make to save our ecosystem.
